If you have a small olive grove and are looking for a cold-pressed processing facility, we can help. We are your local extra-virgin olive oil processor, based in Pisa, Central Otago. 


Central Otago Olive Press was set up in the early 2000s to process local Central Otago olive growers' fruit so they could press and process their olive fruit for extra virgin olive oil. We have a centrifugal press imported from Officine Meccaniche Toscane (OMT) of Florence, Italy, that can process about 300kg per hour. 

Our season opens for olive oil processing in mid-May each year and runs for approximately 4 weeks depending on the season. Our minimum for small-batch processing is 50kg, and pricing depends on volume. We offer commercial growers bottling and storage – please contact us to discuss options. 

We also host a Community Pressing day once a year to support tiny batch growers.
